Hi I'm Kathy Glad

I'm Kathy , I grew up in a small town on a farm. I love teaching children and spending time with my family.

About Me

I am a mother of four children. I also have a wonderful husband. My oldest son just returned from his mission to Ohio and my other son is on his mission to Oklahoma. We miss him. My oldest daughter is getting married in a month in the Manti temple and my youngest daughter is eighteen. I just finished my degree in Elementary Education a couple of years ago and have been substituting at many schools and am looking for a job. I am also the Primary President in my ward. I love teaching and being with the children, they make me so happy. I am so happy to say that even though I have been married for many years I am still in love with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be born into a family that taught me the gospel at a young age, but I have also had to find out for myself if I have a testimony of this church. I have been through many great things in my life but also many trials that have helped me to gain a testimony for myself of the truthful of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I am so thankful for my knowledge of the gospel, the atonement and the belief that I have that we can live eternally with our families if we live righteously and are married in one of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints temples. I love my family so much and as I have had sons leave for missions it has been one of the hardest things for me to deal with but I know that I can be with them for eternity if we as a family do what the Lord would want us to do. My sons and daughters are such examples to me of how to be strong and to testify of what I believe. I am so thankful for the great power of prayer, I know that my Savior loves me and that he really cares about me. At times I have felt so alone but I have felt my Savior there with me through all of those times. I am so blessed to have a family, I don't know what I would do without them. They are my life, what I have worked for. I have been blessed to be able to stay home and be a mom and I hope that it has made a difference in their life that I have been there for them and I hope I have taught them all they need to know. I know I am lacking in so many areas but there is one thing I do KNOW, that I would do anything for my children.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each and every day. I try to look for ways to affect other people's lives and be willing to help lift their burdens. I truly love people and love to make them happy. I have been given so much and want to give some of the love and joy that I feel to those around me. I feel that my father has taught me to love others unconditionally. I am so thankful for that feeling of love that I have for my fellow brothers and sisters and hope that I make a difference in someone's life along the way. I know that my Savior has given me everything that I have and he is my greatest example of how I should live a Christ like life. I go to church every Sunday and make it a priority in my life, I also go with my husband to the temple every month and am trying to increase my temple attendance because it helps to increase my testimony and faith of our Savior Jesus Christ. I enjoy the time that I spend in Primary each week. The children love the gospel and have such simple but strong testimonies. They help me want to be better.
