Hi I'm Aaron

God, Family, Community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I are expecting our first child. The Lord, my family, and my Church leaders have been my greatest support as I served a mission in Albania, completed college, and continue to forge ahead with life. I am pursuing a career in law enforcement and believe that establishing trust and interdependence in one's community is the best way to police. I enjoy writing, playing the guitar, exercising, and working with those in need. I'm no superstar, just a servant.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because I have received a witness from the Holy Ghost that this is His church, that we have a prophet in our day who is called of God, and that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that God, Our Heavenly Father, has a plan for all His children and is personally mindful of all of us and our needs. He knows what is best for us and wants us to be happy now and in eternity with Him and our families. That promise of being with my family forever helps me keep going even when times are tough, and true happiness has come to me as I have lived the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a member of His church.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, there is so much to be gained through living the Gospel. It's not just what I do, but who I am as a disciple Jesus Christ. Throughout the week, I am blessed with opportunities to serve in and out of the church, be that at home, in the community, or work. In all of these settings, Heavenly Father knows what His children need, and allows me to be a tool in His hands to help. Balancing out my schedule can be difficult at times, but the Lord's guiding hand makes my burden light so that I am able to do whatever He requires. Through hardship and trials, the Lord and my family have always been there for me.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Aaron
Mormon missionaries proselyte so, as Jesus Christ commanded, all people can receive His gospel. There are so many people who have never had the chance to learn of Christ, His sacrifice for us, or the affect that can have on our lives. They need the peace and healing that comes from following the Savior. As missionaries, we just want to share that, to help them learn of Christ and the great blessings that can come to our families from living what He taught. Because His church is on the earth again, we have access to many truths that have been lost for centuries, including the authority that binds families together even after this life. These truths, and the guidance of a living prophet, are available to all, but most just don't know it yet. That's where missionaries come in. Our desire for everyone to have those blessings is so great that we leave behind college, work, and social life for two years to find people who want those blessings themselves. Show more Show less
