Hi I'm David

I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I live with my wife and five children in Connecticut. My oldest son is on a mission, and my oldest daughter attends BYU. I am a health care consultant, and I like to read and attend my children's activities.

Why I am a Mormon

My family tree has deep roots in Mormonism, but that doesn't mean that I stayed Mormon just because my parents and their parents were Mormon. I put the church's teachings to the test and found out by myself. But I have to admit, if I had not been born into the church, I wonder if I would have been brave enough to go through the process of finding out. I still have questions, but I have learned that the more I learn, and test, and understand, the more gratified I become. I stay a Mormon because I am happy being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love to serve, and love to teach. I have been a missionary, Bishop, youth leader, scoutmaster, and teacher. But what is most satisfying is daily life with my family. We go to church, pray, have fun family nights and great family vacations. Every other year our extended families get together on the West Coast. Family is the center of our faith and the core of our life.
