Hi I'm Alex

I'm a Mormon! I grew up in NYC and still follow the Yankees and Giants. I work for the govt, and am here to help you!

About Me

I served in the Army, and currently work as a government civilian Operations Research Analyst. I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a MS in Industrial Engineering. My experience in life and work is best characterized by "Been There, Done That!"

Why I am a Mormon

Perfecting ourselves and helping our family and neighbors is what life on earth is all about. I put Mormon Doctrine to the test since 1978 and can testify of the "much good fruits" I have harvested from that decision. Although I am far from perfect, I have tried to be the best husband, father, and neighbor, that I can be. As I approach the "beginning of the end" phase of my life on earth, I am satisfied that I know the purpose of life, and is doing all I can to prepare for new adventures with my ancestors, and eventually my immediate family, throughout eternity.

How I live my faith

I currently serve a group of young single adults living in the Baltimore area. Many of them are students living far away from their parents. I help nurture their spiritual and physical well being through service to the community. We performed Community Clean-ups, visited the nearby Veterans' Hospital, annually hosted a Halloween Party for the community children, conducted annually fund raisers to benefit the House of Ruth, and provided facilities for an annual month-long Summer Art Camp for the community youth.
