Hi I'm Tim

I live in North Carolina on a small cattle farm and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m the husband of an absolutely wonderful woman. I have eight children of three girls and five boys. We work a small free range beef cattle farm in North Carolina. I also work as a general contractor in the area and have a small software engendering company. Very diversified I agree but all things I love doing. The computers used to be my main business buy it took too much time away from my family so I changed gears and do things that we can all be involved in. The world travel is less and the money is tighter but I wouldn't change a thing. I can think of nothing better than working with my family. I know from experience being there is much better than hearing about it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but we all need to know of its truths for ourselves. For that I thank my wife. Shortly after we were married she helped me realize there is more to life than working for increase. My work load is still heavy but my reasons are completely different and I am so much happier for it. The Lord has taught me that we are here for a reason and it is a daily process. Some days we learn hard sessions and others we help others to learn. I love the process and am amazed at how much he has to offer us. I looked around and could find nothing as complete as the gospel taught in our halls. If sincerely studied and applied you can be freed from guilt and remorse of past transgressions and truly find the joy that the Lord speaks of. I am thankful I took the Lords challenge and tried him. He has never failed me no matter how many times I have fallen. For that I will never look back and always press on.

How I live my faith

I work, I serve, I love and I hope. Though it’s not easy at times I try to apply these things in my life every day. I try to do the Lords work in raising, supporting and teaching my family. I serve as best as I can by honoring the idea that I am my brother’s keeper. His needs are my needs and his pain is my pain. I try and love the way the Lord has shown me. No matter what comes at me I try to see the good in it even if it was something directed at me that was meant to be hurtful. I try to see things from the Lords point of view as much as possible. Through all of this I have hope that I am doing my best to do the Lords will. I have faith that he can do all things and that I can as well if I am doing what he wants for me. I hope that when I get to see him again I am worthy of the title of friend.
