Hi I'm Tyler

I am a recent college graduate who is about to be a first time father, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love spending time out in nature. Hiking, camping, kayaking, rappelling, horseback riding, and swimming are some of my hobbies. I also enjoy reading books, watching movies with family or friends, listening to music, and trying new foods.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I feel that this is His church, and that when I do what He asks it brings a smile to His face. I love learning from other church members, and do my best to help them when they need it. Living the commandments brings me daily joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church on a weekly basis, and by participating in community activities. I offer service whenever I can. I spend time every day reading the Holy Scriptures, and feel happy when I do. I know that I can talk to Heavenly Father through prayer, and that He will answer me, even if it's not always the answer I want, or as soon as I would like an answer. I love to smile, and you'll hardly ever find me without a smile on my face.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Tyler
A testimony is the word we use when we feel we have learned through the Holy Spirit that something is true. Usually, the word testimony is used in reference to the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a whole, but sometimes it is used when we are describing how we feel about the Book of Mormon or other scripture.
