Hi I'm Joseph

I'm a husband, brother, son, and uncle. I love math. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in rural Mississippi. I went to a very small school where everybody knew everybody else. I played football and tennis, and I still love both of those sports. Recently, I have taken up running. I love to learn. I am currently a college student studying mathematics and education. I have been married for 2 years to the woman of my dreams. I love to laugh and be with those that I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a lifelong Mormon, but that doesn't mean that I believe blindly or without question. I am studying mathematics, and I crave logic and consistency. One thing that I love about the gospel is that it is like math. There are a set of rules that govern all of us, and those rules are always in effect. I love that the gospel is the same for everyone. I loved growing up in the South. People here love the Bible. I love the Bible. It testifies of Christ. The Bible teaches us that the foundation of Christ's church is the Apostles and Prophets. I am a Mormon because it is the only church on the earth that has living and real prophets and Apostles. These men have been given authority from Christ to govern His church and teach His gospel.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am the scoutmaster of the troop our church sponsors and I am also teach the teenage young men of our church on Sundays. I love to be with the young people of the church. I try to live as an example to them of what it means to be a disciple of Christ. I served a two year full time mission for my church in Australia. I love living my faith.
