Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a convert of just over 2 years, I am Canadian from Ontario but living the adventure in Alberta. I'm LDS and love it

About Me

Hey, I'm Matt. I'm a Convert of just over 2 years now. I am an adventurer at heart with a poets soul. I'm a singer, a craftsmen, a cook and an artist. I do my best in what ever I can and always there to help someone out. I am an out doors type of person who loves to camp..swim and fish, though staying inside is also pretty sweet. I'm Matt and I'm a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church, I was a lonely hatefull man I drank, I abused drugs aswell myself I was angry at the world even though I had forgot why. I was lost and stubborn cold and alone, but a dear friend of mine changed all of that by showing me love and light ..showing me there is much to the world then what I percieved it. I met with the missionaries often and took the gospel straight to my heart, I read the book of mormon from the begining and Lehi's dream stuck with me. All I could think of was the Tree of Life, it was like I could see it in the waking world, I had found my path. I was shown a great blessing through my friends kindness the blessing of love, charity and redemption. I found everything I was looking for in the depths of my soul I had found God aswell my path my purpose. I learnt to love and to care for another to help them like another has helped me. And through the Atonement of christ I was able to love myself I was able to stop drinking, drugs and abusing everything around me. I was able to overcome many of my challenges that seemed the hardest because I had Christ in my life. I hold all this as a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith? I live my faith by helping out the missionaries at the appointments as often as I can, I home teach with my hometeaching companion as often as we can. I attending Institute and learn by the spirit, I attend church gatherings and activities, I pray often and read my scriptures daily, I try to share the gospel the best way I can.. all of these I do, and I admit they are a challenge but I always remember the lord has given us strength to over come challenges. And as I continue to Excersise my faith by taking on these challenges I grow stronger by living my faith.
