Hi I'm Andrew

I was born with a physical deformity and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student. I like to play soccer, cycle, and just about any other kind of physical activity. I also love music, singing and of course my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this faith, but I have come to know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's church restored to the earth through a prophet. There was a time, when I was a young teen, that I felt empty inside. I found that when I read from the Book of Mormon my day would just go better. That was the simple foundation upon which the rest of my testimony has been laid. As I grew, I found that applying the things I learned in church brought the most lasting joys into my life.

How I live my faith

I'm a college student right now, and I work full time. Trying to balance everything in my life can be a bit tough. One thing I know I can always turn to is my Savior. When I read from the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father on a daily basis everything else seems to be doable. I try to help people who I can see need help. It's funny because a lot of other people who see me, think I'm the one who needs help, and admittedly, sometimes I do. When I am around other people, I like to joke around and have fun, but I never want someone to finish talking to me who has not been lifted in a positive way by talking to me.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Andrew
The missionaries proselyte because not enough people know about the Restoration of Jesus Christ's Church on the earth. The whole world needs the same opportunity to feel the power and truth that is contained in the message that Jesus Christ's Church has been restored to the earth; that there is a living Prophet on the earth in this day; and that we can find the peace and comfort and joy that we really want out of life. The fact of the matter is people don't know where to find peace, comfort, and joy. The missionaries do their best to share it with them. I know that the things I've learned to be true can benefit the whole human race, and that's who the missionaries are anxious to talk to. Show more Show less
