Hi I'm Janice

Born and raised in Utah. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to read. I received a BA majoring in English. I married my best friend after writing letters for 2 year as he served a mission for the church in Germany. I'm a mother of 3 children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church. I gained my own testimony of it's truthfulness in high school by studying the Book of Mormon and coming to know through personal prayer that my Father in Heaven loves me.

How I live my faith

I currently serve the young children in my ward. I'm in charge of Sunday messages and the teachers that teach specific ages. I love working with the children and I love the songs that teach important truths like "I'm a Child of God" and "I Know that my Savior Loves Me."

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Janice
We are like any other women. We choose to cover our bodies modestly and save ourselves until marriage. I value family and feel my place is to raise my children so they have the security of knowing they come first. When outside employment is necessary, I choose lower paying jobs that offer me greater flexibility to be home as much as possible. My husband and I work together as partners to decide important family decisions and I value his Priesthood authority in our home to bless and protect us. We are equal and bring unique strengths to our family. Show more Show less
