Hi I'm Shane

I'm a husband, a father of 4, I live in Texas selling water pumps, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I’m of Samoan, German, and Tongan decent. Our family immigrated to the United States when I was 4yrs old. I have lived in California, Florida and now call Texas my home. I grew up with my parents an older sister and two brothers; together we all shared in our love for music and dance, and especially worshiping God as a family. I am married to my wonderful wife, Lisa, who is my eternal companion as we raise our children in harmony with the teachings of the Gospel as we find in it's fullness in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Latter-Day Saint home. As I have matured in life, I have come to a better understanding through studying the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other latter-day scriptures that Jesus Christ is our Savior, Redeemer and advocate to our Heavenly Father. That Christ's mission is actually to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of mankind. He is the only Begotten of our Heavenly Father. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God raised up to bring forth the Book of Mormon and to reestablish Christ's church again on the earth with the proper authority to do so.I believe that there is a prophet of God here on this earth today that leads his Church under divine revelation. I continue to be a member of the church of my own agency because I cannot find any false teachings in its doctrine. My faith and prayers of it's doctrine's to be true are strengthened each day.

How I live my faith

I feel the best way to keep myself in check is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving others and following the examples and teachings of Christ. In church I have been privileged to serve as a Bishop (the congregational leader) of our ward; an Elders Quorum President (Male Adults), a Young Men’s President and advisor, (youth males 12-18); Ward Mission Leader (member missionary work); a Cub Scout Den leader, as well as a Sunday School Teacher to youth and adults. I didn't go looking to do those things, but the opportunity came to serve others so I volunteered to do it.
