Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in MN. I'm currently serving a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lots of interests including Sailing, Pool, Singing, Reading, Acting, Playing Bass, and being with friends. I enjoy listening to lots of different types of music and my Ipod is one of my best friends. I have four younger brothers and one younger sister. I plan to go to college in my future and persue a science major. (Possibly Bio-physics) My favorite sport is soccer but there is practically nothing I don't enjoy doing as long as its with people.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm an optimist. My opinion is that life is a time to be happy. That's what Jesus Christ and His church is all about. I'm Mormon because I have found that it gives me a way to be truly happy in this life and the life to come. I have found truth; truth that can bring joy. This truth helps me through anything and everything I go through. When I keep focused on Jesus Christ through His restored gospel, I am given a unique perspective on life which affords me strength like nothing else can.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Until September of 2012 I will be dedicating all my time to teaching those who are willing to learn about Jesus Christ. In addition, as a missionary I provide service to any who stand in need within my assigned area.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Chris
There is no "requirement" regarding a mission. All young male members of the church are actively encouraged to participate in a mission according to their ability. Young women are also able to serve as they choose. Senior couples, who no longer have obligations at home, are also encouraged to participate. Show more Show less
