Hi I'm Toby

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with three children and one granddaughter. I love to hunt, camp, play golf, fish, coach my children in sports and I also officiated high school and little league sports for over 20 years. I played baseball in college and graduated with a degree in business from a private religious college not of my faith. I served a full time mission in South America where I learned to speak Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe following its principles and teachings leads me not only to return to live with my Savior, Jesus Christ, but also allows me to continue my relationship with my family members and especially my wife. By living its teachings during my life, I have been blessed beyond imagination. I have learned the importance of serving others. I have a testimony of paying an honest tithe and have had the windows of heaven open for me and my family. I appreciate and enjoy the work we do in the temples wherein we are sealed to our families as well as perform sacred ordinances for God's children and learn many sacred teachings. I am a Mormon because I have witnessed what being a Mormon has done for others as well as myself. Mormon beliefs make sense to me and offer peace and joy during these trying times. I know these teachings to be true because I have prayed and asked my Father in Heaven about them and the Holy Ghost has confirmed the truthfulness of them to me through its still small voice. I know that Christ died for me and that he has prepared a means by which we can return to live with Him again if we will but follow His teachings. I know that the Book of Mormom is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know God lives and knows me and loves me.

How I live my faith

We strive to be honest in our dealings with others and to respect their beliefs. We attend church every week and participate in the midweek activities as well. Several times over the years, I have traveled to help clean up after hurricanes with our church group.
