Hi I'm Brett Mecham

I'm athletic, outgoing, studying to be an engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brett and I love life. I studied engineering at the University of Michigan and I am still currently contemplating the route I am going to take in life as far as my career goes. I like to do too many things, and want to do them all! In the end, I want a job that I love and that will allow me to focus on my future family. I am obsessed with watching and playing all different kinds of sports. I also love to play and listen to all different genres of music. My friends and family mean everything to me, and more than anything, I love to spend time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. I know that our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ live, and they love us very much. I know that Jesus Christ continues to guide his church through a modern prophet. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and provides us with the direction we need in order to live a happy life and to stay on the path that leads back to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing what I know with others, and helping them come unto Christ so they can receive many wonderful blessings from God, just as I have seem my life so richly blessed. I live my faith by serving others, and loving my friends and neighbors. One of the greatest ways I live my faith is by being an example to others.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brett Mecham
Pray. God has blessed us with the ability to speak to him directly. To know if Mormonism is true, one must pray and ask God, who is the source of all truth. God will then answer by sending the Holy Spirit, which we can feel. We can know God has answered our prayer when we feel the "Fruits of the Spirit" which are peace, love, joy, faith, hope. I know that God wants us to communicate with him, and he is eager to respond. He will guide us and let us know that he is there and he is listening. Show more Show less
