Hi I'm Cheryl

My life is good. I am the wife of an amazing man. I'm the mother of 4 girls and 1 boy. I love to cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Spending time with my family is a favorite past time, whether we're playing games, working together or just lingering over dinner listening to them talk. My life is quite good. My husband and I work at home and our two girls, who are still at home, school at home. When I'm not spending time with my family I like to read, do crafts and find good recipes to try. I also enjoy helping other people.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 18 years. I was looking for a church when my 3 oldest kids were young. I had a brother and sister-in-law who were members of this church and so I prayed to know more about the church. Shortly after praying the missionaries showed up at my door. They taught me about the gospel and challenged me to read the Book of Mormon. I finished it in 6 weeks. The missionaries told me to pray to know if the book was true. My prayers were answered, I knew it was true, I couldn't put it down. Being a member of this church has blessed my life so much. The family is a very important part of this church and the teachings from the church are helping our family to grow strong together. I love His gospel!

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the young women in our church. The girls are ages 12-18. It's an important responsibility as these young women will be future leaders in the church. I try to set a good example for them and teach them correct principles. Our youth are faced with such temptations in the world and I am so fortunate to be able to help them understand what's important in this life and to avoid the pitfalls of the world. I love teaching the girls about the Savior and His love for us. I will often tell them, He is waiting for you, reach out your hand and He will take it and lead you. He does that for every person who goes looking for Him.
