Hi I'm Nicole

I served in the New York Rochester Mission, I am married to the love of my life, and I am a Zumba Instructor!

About Me

Hello:) I am a member missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I was raised in the church! I love my family, I love to dance, and I sure do love to testify of the truth! I love the gospel and I love helping people find true long lasting happiness! I am a Zumba Instructor because I just love people and I want people to be happy with themselves on the inside and outside!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church! I always knew the gospel of Jesus Christ is true but my real conversion did not come till I made a few big mistakes and have experianced the Atonement and what my savior went through! As I was experiancing the sweet joy of repentance I really felt my savoirs love for me and thats when it really sunk deep into my heart that God lives and Jesus Christ is his son! He sent him here to so that I might live so that we can all live! I know we can all be forgivin of our sins and feel the sweet peace and joy that comes from repentance!

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by keeping the commandments of God! I love the scripture in John 14:15 If ye love me keep my commandments! It is that simple if we truely love our father in heaven we will follow his son Jesus Chirst in all aspects of our lives!

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Nicole
Many blessings come from reading and studying the scriptures I would like to share a few and touch on them briefly. 1. Knowledge- there is a saying that knowledge is power! I know that is true. If we want to come closer and know what our Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ plan is for us individually as well as a family we need to study their life. How do people get an education and become experts in their fields of work they research and study their manuals. The scriptures are not just manuals though, they are the life guide to becoming like our Savior Jesus Christ who is perfect. 2. Spiritual Power-when we live the scriptures and not only read the words on the pages we are armed with power against the satan. 3. Answers to prayers-Heavenly Father has a variety of ways of communicating with his children but one in particular is by studying our scriptures. I have many experiences where God has answered my prayers through the scriptures mostly in the Book of Mormon. There are more blessings then what I mentioned so I invite you to figure more out for yourself! Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Nicole
Lets define Christian: A person who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ. The name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We know his teachings are true and we try and live them the best we can! Since I remember from when I was a child all growing up at church they always taught about Jesus and His dealings with man on the earth. Yes we are Christian! Mormons are just a nickname because of The Book of Mormon. Show more Show less

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Nicole
I would like to answer this question with a scripture from the Bible in Hebrews 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. The priesthood is God's Authority here on earth to bless everyone. God himself gives this power to righteous worthy men to perform in the ordinances of salvation. I love this metaphor/story... If you were driving down a freeway at high speeds and police man pulls you over and gives you a ticket he has the authority to do so. Same situation but an Ice Cream truck with their flashing lights wants to pull you over because your endangering all the other cars around you. You would laugh and say ya right because you know he/she has no authority to give you a ticket. As with baptism you cant just baptize a person and call it great you need the proper authority to baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
