Hi I'm Jared

Riding the unicycle is just for kicks. Cooking keeps me sane. Being Mormon is the essence of my existence.

About Me

I am currently starting my college career after serving a two year mission in Brasil. I love to cook and tinker around with things. I am a Mechanical engineering major, which suits me well. I love spending time exploring the Gods wondrous creations in the great outdoors. Family has played an important role in my life and i hope to start one of my own once I find my eternal companion. I love everyone I come to meet, and if I don't I work towards loving them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed exceedingly by having faithful mormon parents who have raised me and my 9 brothers and sisters righteously. After seeing their example and living the way they have taught me, there isn't any doubt of the truthfullness found in these latter days.

How I live my faith

While the church as a whole is a wonderful thing, all the real work is done in the individual wards in branches within the individual stakes. As a church we are one, teaching all the same doctrine and having the same values and beliefs world wide, but I belive we can do the most good by strengthening the church where we stand. I love hard work and the challenges it presents and the rewards it allows me to reap. I live my faith by serving in whatever capacity I can. One of the greatest blessings I enjoy is being able to help administer the sacrament every sunday because of the priesthood that I hold. I love service because it really shows love and devotion to those who are on the recieving end. When ever there is an oppurtunity for me to serve, I make it a priority to see how I can be of a help.
