Hi I'm Michael

I love my family and basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Central Texas with my wife and little girl; one is gorgeous and the other adorable. I am a recent college graduate and love not being in school right now. I love playing all kinds of sports, mainly basketball, soccer and golf. I am currently working for a Health Care system in my area and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are also Mormons and so I was raised in the Mormon culture and going to the LDS church. As I began to get a little older, it became apparent to me that I needed to figure out if what my parents were teaching me was true or not. The Mormon Faith requires a lot of discipline and holds a very high moral standard and health standard. I needed to know that this religion was the only true religion in order to follow its commandments. I did receive that confirmation that the LDS church was true and that I should keep the commandments that were being taught by the LDS church leaders. Through many spiritual experiences (life changing experiences), I now have a very strong belief in the Mormon Faith and in the LDS church. Through all this, I have come to know my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father well. I know now what is expected of me and what I need to do to merit eternal life with them one day.

How I live my faith

Living one's faith is a very personal endeavor. Overall, I try to align my desires with God's desires. My personal life includes daily scripture reading and personal, sincere prayers. Outwardly, I try to serve and help people I see throughout my day. I also attend church every Sunday in order to take the Sacrament and study the word of God with other people of my faith. In theory, my faith should be visible in every aspect of my life. Lets just say, I am a work in progress.
