Hi I'm Geoffrey

I like ICP-AES and learning languages. I'm a Mormon, and I was baptized in a renovated prison in Hong Kong.

About Me

I love to learn and teach. Right now, I am teaching about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on a full-time 2-year mission in Boston, Massachusetts, in both English and Khmer. After I finish my mission, I will return to my home in the Bay Area, California, where I will continue pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley. In my spare time, I love playing ultimate frisbee, tennis, and basketball. I want to travel the world and live abroad after finishing my college education.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that through faith in Jesus Christ and his Restored gospel I am happier. I can have happier relationships with my friends, family, God, and myself.

How I live my faith

Right now, I am serving as a missionary in Lowell, Massachusetts. I translate meetings from English into Khmer, and teach the Cambodian population in the area about our religion so that they can find the same happiness I have had in my life. In my opinion, the most beautiful part of this experience of leaving home, family, and friends for two years to teach people about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is being able to completely forget about the stresses and problems of my life, and being able to focus only on the needs and spiritual progression of others.
