Hi I'm Marianne

I was born, raised and still live in the GREAT South. I am a wife and mother of three. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of eight children. I grew up in a very small town in Arkansas. After high school I ventured out on my own. A couple of years later I met the man of my dreams. We have now been married nearly fourteen years. Throughout our marriage we have moved a lot with my husband's career. One thing I have noticed with every move is that the Church is the same everywhere we've lived.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My father joined the church after he and my mother were married. One of my earliest memories as a child was being sealed to my family in the temple. I have always tried to live my life in a way that I felt my Savior would be proud of me. By having His gospel and living the standards of the Church I have found much joy in my life. By living the Word of Wisdom I am healthy and free of addictions. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know where I came from, why I am here on this earth, and where I am going after this earth life. This knowledge gives me comfort and helps me overcome difficult trials in my life.

How I live my faith

For the past couple of years I have been working with the young women in my ward. I also visit three other women at least once a month. I can truly feel my Savior's love as I serve others. I live my religion every day of the week and not just on Sunday's. In doing so, it is easier to choose the right. As a result, I feel closer to my Savior. I am also a stay-at-home mom. With this comes much joy and happiness, along with, stress. With three young children at home it can oftentimes be mentally/physically draining to balance family, church and personal time. I find myself constantly turning towards my Savior for strength and guidance. I know with His help I can overcome/handle anything He places in my path.
