Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA ,I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom. I have a family. We are not perfect, but we are happy. I am a college graduate, but I have chosen to stay home with my children. I love to read. I love to travel even if it is driving a few miles from home to see a new street or watching the sun rise- there is something new to see every day. As a family we try to sit down every day and have dinner together. We try new foods and talk about our day and adventures. I love to feed the birds in my backyard. They are exciting to watch, especially in the springtime.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my family. I love my Mother and Father. I love my own family. I love to get together for reunions and to visit with one another. I believe each family on earth is a miracle. I believe we are all a part of God's plan. When we can work togther, we can make miracles happen. I am a Mormon because with my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I can have miracles happen in my life everyday. With my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I can help my family have happiness and love one another.

How I live my faith

I set goals for myself. I have a "to-do" list and my favorite goal is to look for something wonderful that happened today. At first, this was difficult to accomplish, but now I have so many wonderful things happen that I try to write them down. I work with the cub scouts with my son. At first, I was not very enthusiastic about this position, because the boys were so rambunctious. But now I love meeting with the scouts and I have many wonderful results with this opportunity.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

A ward is a geographical section of a city or town. Normally, specific streets are used as the geographical boundaries. The ward congregation is assigned specific meeting times at a church location to accomodate other ward congregations meeting at the same building. Show more Show less
