Hi I'm Kali

born and raised. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. It is true when they say "what goes around, comes around"! I am also a wife to an amazing husband who works hard so that I can stay home with our children. Being a mother can be difficult at times, but the blessings that come from raising my little ones, far outweigh any challenges that may come my way. I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors camping, hiking, riding bikes and going for walks. Being active and staying healthy is a priority in this family.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, I do not know how I would be able to get through life without the gospel being a part of it. When trials come my way, I am able to overcome them because of the gospel and the many resources that come with it. I am given the peace and courage I need to take my trials and become a stronger person from them. I can't imagine not knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father who truly does care about me as His child. That knowledge in and of itself helps give me a greater sense of self to know who I am. I am forever indebted to Jesus Christ and his Atonement. Because of Him I can repent of my sins and be forgiven. Thanks to HIs Atonement, if I live my life to the best of my ability, I can return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus again someday. In times like these where the world around me is falling apart, I am so grateful to know that someday Jesus will come again and things will be made right. I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth girls at church. I am amazed at their desire to live their lives righteously and their ability to withstand temptations that constantly surround them. They are definitely small in number at their schools, but are great examples of how a member of the church should behave. They are by no means perfect, and they all make mistakes. But they are learning from their mistakes and gaining a closer relationship to Heavenly Father as they go through life. It amazes me how much I could learn from these young teenage girls. As their leader and teacher, I dare say that I have learned more from them, then they have from me!
