Hi I'm marlow lords

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Oakley, Idaho. Served a mission with my wife Nancy in Ghana West Africa.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho. I was baptized when I was eight years old. After I graduated from high school I joined the military and served in the Navy, Air Force and Army. I married while in the Navy. My beautiful wife and I have 5 wonderful Children, 14 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. While in the military I traveled to Hawaii, Japan, Philipines, Hong Kong, and Germany. While stationed in Germany my family and I traveled to Belgium, Luxembourg,France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. After retiring from the military, I worked as a motion picture machine operator, aircraft electrician, toolcrib attendant, warehouseman, I also attended college, Culinary Arts School. I worked as a cook and baker at the culinary school, was also the cafeteria manager and cashier. After retiring for the third time, my wife and I served a two year mission to Ghana West Africa.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon home. Mostly I am a Mormon because I have studied the scriptures and church doctrine and know of myself and through the through the Spirit of my Heavenly Father that it is true. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a true Prohet of the Lord Jesus Christ. I know that he saw God the Father and his son Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove and that they did in reality speak to him face to face. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it contains the history of a people that came from Jerusalem to the American continents led by the hand of God. I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon go hand in hand and compliment each other. I know that Thomas S Monson is God's True Prophet upon the earth today. I bear this my solemn testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meeting and by serving as a home teacher in my ward. I serve as the president of the Gospel Doctrine class in Sunday School. I serve as a volunteer at the church cannery. My wife and I serve as Ordinance workers in the Mesa Arizona Temple. My wife and I also served a two year mission to Ghana West Africa.
