Hi I'm Karrie Jones

I'm a wife, a blogger, a sister and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Southern Utah rich in heritage and tradition. At an early age I learned about my pioneer ancestors who sacrificed everything. Many of them left their homes in Europe and India to help build up the gospel here in the United States. One of the greatest joys in my life is my family. I love watching my brothers and sister experience life and grow in the gospel. I try to live the very best I can so that I can be a good example for them. I love talking with them and it means a lot to me when they come to me for advice and help. I also love being an Aunt and holding my little nephews. Because of my love for family I look forward to the day when I will have my own family. Without my family, and the gospel in my life, I would be lost and lacking in happiness. I also love to teach. I am currently attending the local University where I am majoring in Elementary Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I am a Mormon because I know it is true! At an early age I prayed about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. I remember having a strong desire to receive that answer for myself. I received my answer that the Book of Mormon was scripture and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. Since then my testimony has continued to grow, and I have continued to receive answers to my prayers. Answers don't always come when I would want them, but they come. Because answers always come I am continually reminded of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know this church is true, it is the better part, and I will never deny it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be a good example of love and joy wherever I go. Someday's my day to day living can be a struggle but that is when I rely more heavily on the aid of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I also try to live my faith by serving/helping others around me.
