Hi I'm Chayen

I play volleyball for fun, I play the ukulele, I'm Hmong and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play volleyball and basketball. I love music. I sing, play the ukulele, and listen to music. Music is one way I express myself and get my thoughts out. I love to be with my friends, for they make the day fun and interesting. I love my family for they are so loving. Being in a house with six older sisters and no brothers is pretty hard. I got picked on and all that, but that has helped me to be a stronger person and learn to take things how they are and work with it. Now that we are all older we have learned to really appreciate each other. With my caring mother and father, we are becoming a happier family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my sister. I first came in contact with the church though my oldest sister when I was about eight or so. Because of the many weekends I spent with her and her family I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 12. It is one of the be decisions I have made. It has really helped me to see the true meaning of life. Granted when I was 12 I didn't understand much, but the more I listened to the teachings of Jesus Christ, I understood that there is something more out there than to just doing nothing. I have become a better person by trying my best to follow our Savior's example. With the help of great leaders and great friends, I have become more happy and I am thankful for all that they have helped me to become.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do what the Lord would do if he was here. For he has set the example for us and has called out to us and said "Come follow me."
