Hi I'm Brandon

I live in Southern California, I am married, have 3 awesome children, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I think the best way to explain who I am is to start with my family. My wife and I have been married for going on 8 years now. We met while we were both in highschool at a church event, and have been together ever since! We both attended college, and while attending, we had our first child. After completing school, we had our second child, and we moved back to Southern California. I have since started my career and we had another little girl named just over a year ago. I love spending time with my family at the beach, listening to music, going to the park, or anything else we do together.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this question...why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon because I have a belief in my Savior Jesus Christ, and have chosen to follow Him and His teachings! I know that without our Savior, we would be unable to return to our Father in Heaven, and enjoy eternity with those that we love here on this earth. I have come to learn through my own study and personal revelation that the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are true. We still live in a day of revelation, as in days of old. God is the same yesterday, today and forever, and as such, I know he still calls prophets to lead and guide His church here on the earth. With so much confusion between right and wrong, it only makes sense that God would help us by having a living prophet to help show us the way! I know that as a young boy, Joseph Smith had a desire to know the truth, and was given this truth from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ, and is another testament of His divine mission. I believe the Bible also teaches important truths required to be able to return back to our Father's presense. Above all, I know that if we choose to follow the teachings of the Gospel, that we will be blessed beyond our greatest expectations! I know that God lives, and that Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son who lived on the earth, and suffered and died for us. I know this, because I can feel it in my heart as I pray for answers to my prayers. If you don't know this for yourself, I challenge you to pray for yourself to know if this is true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in all that I do. I recieve many of the questions that other Mormons do such as, "Why don't you drink coffee?" or "Why don't you join us for activities on Sundays?" The people in my life have come to learn that I live my faith daily. I serve actively in my church to help the missionary efforts in our ward. I work with our full time missionaries (the guys you see in white shirts, riding their bikes, and knocking on your doors) by helping them find people to teach the Gospel to. I love the opportunities I have to serve every day in my calling in the church.
