Hi I'm Kadi.

I like sewing, I like to hike, my family is important to me, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a young single adult doing my best to live a happy life! The most important things to me are religion, family, and other relationships. I love to hike and kayak in the canyons and reservoirs nearby. I started learning how to sew when I was 11 years old and over the years have created many things, mostly items of clothing. I recently sewed my first wedding dress and have a dream of designing, sewing, and selling these online as a hobby. I am in the beginning stages of seeing this dream be fulfilled and am excited to see where it goes! I graduated college with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I tried out that career path for a little while, and recently decided to change direction and enter into the business field. It has been such a blessing to me! I'm enjoying what I do and look forward to the opportunities ahead of me.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 7 years old, my sister Rachel passed away. It was a trial that was hard for my family, but we stuck together and turned to the Lord. I had been taught that my family could be together forever - beyond this life - and that alone to me as a young girl brought a huge source of comfort that I could find nowhere else. I knew I needed to continue to learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ and live them for the rest of my life so that I could see my precious sister once again. Because of all that Jesus Christ has done for me, because of my family and countless others who have helped along the way, and because I have gained my own conversion to this gospel as it has been restored, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being close to God is important to me. I feel my faith increase as I keep daily habits of studying the scriptures and really praying, and attending church on Sundays. I listen to the Prophet. These things help me to feel His love and know how to better align my will with His. I stay close to my family because I have faith that I'll get to be with them forever. I also seek to build my relationships with others so that I can have a forever family of my own one day. This is one of the most important things I can do, and will be the most fulfilling. I live worthy to enter into the temple so that this can be a reality for me. I try to reach out and be a friend to others when they need it. Jesus taught about this when He taught about love and compassion. As I act this way, I feel closer to God.
