Hi I'm Carolyn

I'm an English Major, a voracious reader, a writing tutor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in English, Secondary Education. I enjoy reading (I guess that's kind of my hobby), and I enjoy watching old movies (With actors like:Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Van Johnson, Katherine Hepburn...) I also enjoy watching live performances and have performed in several plays. (One of my favorites was Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew; I was the shrew)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but there came a point in which I had to gain a testimony for myself. The Lord answered my prayer to know if this Church is true, and my conviction is based upon deeply personal spiritual experiences. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that this is His restored Church in these latter days. Knowing this has made all the difference in how I live my life, the way in which I treat those around me, and the ways in which I choose to spend my time. I am a Mormon because I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Savior of the World and my personal Savior. His prophet stands on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson, and this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the fullness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my church callings. I instruct the sisters of the church on several different gospel topics. I love these sisters dearly. I also live my faith by constantly seeking to strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father and to love others as the Savior loves them.
