Hi I'm Steve

I'm somewhat outgoing but I'm good at putting people to sleep-mainly with drugs. I'm an Anesthesiologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Married to Cindy and father to three children. I'm a grown up, but sometimes I act younger than my age. It makes my kids laugh, except when I embarrass them. Maybe that's why I do it. I like staying active and used to be a sports fanatic. Have "broadened my horizons" as my mom would say and like music, reading, and hanging with my family. Movies are a frequent occurrence in my house.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a loving family, the 7th of 8 children. You might have thought that I would have gotten lost amidst the chaos in the house. I saw a father who was true to his values and principles and a mother who was loving, supportive and faithful. We didn't have money, but never felt we were poor. Vacations were roadtrips to the mountains or coast and always camping. But we had great love and respect for each other. I grew up in the church, and maybe relied on my parents beliefs to become mine. But going out on my own and testing that belief system, and testifying to others after having gained a testimony for myself was the greatest blessing in my life. I have lived as my earthly parents have wanted me to live. I live today as my Eternal partents want me to live and it gives my life peace and joy. I am trying to set the example for my children and hope they can continue the legacy of my parents.

How I live my faith

I try to live by following the Savior's example. He served others and gave of himself. My best times are when I am helping others, whether it be my family, elderly, children, or youth. I work with the young men in my ward and see myself in them. They want to have fun and most of the time they do the right things. I help them understand the good and the bad in life...the "sweet and sour," and then teach how to live with what life hands you. I like my work because I can use my skills to save lives and ease pain. I have a great job. Nothing better than taking away the pain of labor. Nobody has ever named their child after me, but I don't expect that to happen.
