Hi I'm Lindsay.

I love to laugh and make people happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work at a Physical Therapy clinic. I am a Physical Therapy Aide and hope to become a therapist some day. I love my job. My patients are wonderful. They come from all walks of life and it's so rewarding to see them reach thier goals. When I am not at work I am usually hanging out with my friends and family. I enjoy going to the movies, baking, going to new places, and playing sports. My favorite sports are volleyball, soccer and snowboarding. I love to play with my niece and nephews. They are so sweet and full of life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both converts to the Church. I grew up in the Church and have been greatly blessed. I know that the teachings are true and that if we live righteously we can return to our Heavenly Father again. There is nothing that brings me more happiness than seeing my family grow in the Gospel. I know that as we continue to live the Gospel we can be together forever.

How I live my faith

One of my callings in the church was to organize all of the activities for the young single adults in the region. As young single adults we are all in the same boat going to school and trying to figure out what to do with our lives. Through living the Gospel and going to church together we can gain knowledge and have faith that we can reach our goals.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Almost every Thursday night I go to the temple and perform baptisms for the dead. In order for us to live with God again we must be baptized into his church. Many people have died without the knowledge of the Gospel and some will never learn about the Church in this life. As members we stand in place of those that have passed on so they can have that opportunity. Through family history research we can find names of those family members who did not hear about the Gospel and be baptized for them. I have had many sweet and peaceful experiences being baptized for my ancestors. I can feel the joy of those I'm being baptized for and am grateful I can help them in their progression toward Christ and Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
