Hi I'm Amelia

I am a dancer. I'm a student. I'm a girly girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Amelia and I am 19 years old. Dance is my passion. I love to perform and show emotion through movements. I have been dancing for about 8 years and it brings me so much joy. I also love to travel and explore new things. I am a freshman in college and I am loving life living one day at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 18 years old. Growing up in Utah, I was always surrounded by members and was strongly influenced by their example to me. I was always searching for answers to my questions about religion but I thought I would never find them. I often felt lost and alone and I didn't know if there even was anyone up there who was watching over me. After meeting some wonderful missionaries I was able to open my heart and gain a testimony of my own. Being a member of the LDS church brings me more comfort and joy than I could ever find on my own. Knowing my purpose in life and always trying to serve others and live the gospel gives me direction and a reason to progress. I know that I am a daughter of God and I want to do all I can to help people realize that none of us are alone and all of us are loved by our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I have only been a member for almost 4 months, but I have already had many opportunites to practice my faith. By regularly attending church, praying, and reading my scriptures, I can continue to be reminded of why I chose to be baptized and what it means to me. I am a part of the activities committee for my ward, which helps me stay involved and serve others.
