Hi I'm Carolina

I'm studying in order to receive a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. I like playing minecraft and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student. I love reading books, fantasy, adventure, etc. Playing minecraft, watching Doctor Who and cop shows are some of the things I enjoy doing. I have performed as an actress in small roles before College. I also volunteered in a zoo before. I went to my first Con in January.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I love Jesus Christ and I know this is His church. After He has done so much for me, there is no reason for me not to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I was just called to help teach the 3 year-olds. I try to be kind to my sister and ever since I watched "That's So Raven" I promised myself I would never give reason for my mother to cry. In May, I have gotten married in the Temple. I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven and my Savior for making the blessings of the temple possible for our little family. I also try to read the scriptures daily and be a better person each week.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Carolina
It is how the Church is organized. Like a ward (a small ward is called a branch) is like a city, then a stake is a grouping of wards or like a county. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Carolina
The temple is a holy place, its the Lord's house. When Moses invited the children of Israel to come up onto Mount Sinai, the children of Israel had to be clean and worthy before they could see (Exodus 19:10-17) . Before a temple is dedicated, I would like it if every one could come inside. After the dedication, the temple is His house and only those who are prepared to go inside and are baptized may come. The Temple is sacred, not secret. Inside we are baptized for those who didn't have to receive Jesus Christ's message in life; families are bound together with the priesthood, so it's bonds are stronger than death; and we learn eternal truths. I love temples and I don't want to imagine what life could be like without them. Show more Show less
