Hi I'm Holly

I'm a Native American single mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom to three wonderful children. I love to spend time with them. We enjoy hiking, visiting new places, playing games, making scrapbooks and watching movies. I grew up on an Indian Reservation in the western US and currently live in the east. No matter where I live, the gospel of Jesus Christ is a big part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My wish for my family is to have true happiness and I have found it in this church. I am a Mormon because striving to live the principles taught in the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me and my family happiness. When I was a teenager I had a friend who was a Mormon. Her family was very happy and had a special spirit in their home. I yearned for the same kind of happiness and soon learned from missionaries about the source of this spirit and happiness. I was introduced to the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through the gospel learned that I am a daughter of God (Heavenly Father), that I have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who made it possible for me to return to my Father in Heaven. I prayed to know if these things were true. The truthfulness was confirmed in my heart by the Holy Ghost. Having the gospel in my life has brought me comfort in challenging times and made the good times even sweeter.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do what is right and asking for forgiveness when I make mistakes. I live it by bringing my family together each day for family prayer. Prayer keeps my family closely connected and keeps us connected to our Heavenly Father.
