Hi I'm Rebecca

I love my family, chemistry, and softball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending a University in order to become a High School Chemistry teacher. I love the opportunity to share what I know with others. I love to read and play sports: softball, tennis, volleyball, racquetball, and others. I am leaving for Brazil in June to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have taught me the Gospel since I was born. Throughout my life I have come to know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living Church on Earth today. I know that Christ atoned for my sins, and that because of The Atonement I can become better every day. I know that following the teachings of the prophet and apostles, who speak the word of God, is the only way to find true happiness in this life and through eternity. I believe The Book of Mormon to be the word of God. Through daily study of the Book of Mormon and through prayer to my Heavenly Father I receive answers to questions and am helped in overcoming life's challenges. I know that I need all of these things in my life so that I can live with my Heavenly Father and family forever. I am so grateful for the Priesthood and have a testimony of its power.

How I live my faith

I attend church each week where I help teach and watch over children ages 18 months to 3 years of age. I love being with them each week and feeling of their spirits. I also have the opportunity to visit with other women in my ward, and we help each other build on our faith. I am constantly making decisions based on my beliefs and try to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I study the scriptures daily, as well as speak with my Heavenly Father through prayer.
