Hi I'm Kori

I'm a farmgirl. I love teaching math. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four girls. I am a freshman is college and I am studying to be a math teacher. My family owns a farm and we raise sheep, chickens, goats, and peacocks. I love to play basketball and enjoy the outdoors. I try hard to be a good student and a good person.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my family very much and I want to live with them forever. Prayer and scripture study have touched my heart and helped me to know that this dream I have is possible. As a Mormon I have come to know that if I obey God's commandments and try to live a Christ-like life, I will be blessed and my family will be together, even after we die.

How I live my faith

I spend a lot of time learning from my parents and teaching my little sisters. I also play the piano and lead the music in church. Every third week I prepare a lesson to teach to men and women in church, as we all grow in the gospel. I smile so everyone will know the peace and joy I experience from following Christ and serving others.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Kori
Once I have come to know that God loves me it is easy to see his hand in my life. The beauty of the world around me and the love of my friends and family are two of the most important ways I know God exists. Often, during hard times in my life, I can feel his love and comfort surround me and give me strength that I could never find myself. Show more Show less
