Hi I'm Jeremiah

Once I beat Super Mario, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student trying to make it as best I can. I love hiking, climbing, biking, skiing, and anything outdoors. I am continually amazed at the peace and serenity that comes from the beautiful outdoor vistas that this world has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I had been raised Mormon, but neither myself nor my family attended church growing up. When I was sixteen and going through the troubles that often accompany youth, I had a great desire to fill the emptiness in my life. I had sought for happiness in many things and not found it. I clearly remember grabbing a copy of the Book of Mormon and retiring to my room with a determination not to come out until I knew whether it was true or not. I prayed, read, and prayed some more. After a long time I felt great peace and joy in my heart. These warm feelings filled my heart and made me happy. Since then I have felt these same feelings many times as I have attended church and served in many callings, including full-time missionary service. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It has and continues to bring me closer to my Father in heaven. I know Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God, just like the Prophets in the Bible. I know this Church is true with all my heart. My heart is now filled with joy, peace, and love where there was darkness and doubt before. I know Christ lives! He can redeem, forgive, and cleanse souls.

How I live my faith

Several years ago I had the great privilege to serve as a full-time missionary and represent the Lord Jesus Christ. My mission was filled with many wonderful experiences. I saw, in a small part, how the Lord works. I felt His Spirit many time. Since that time I have tried to serve the Lord with all my heart in whatever capacity I find myself in. I try to serve and love those around me. I find great satisfaction from hometeaching and serving on the activities committee in my local Ward.
