Hi I'm Chris

I used to be an mma fighter, now i teach people how to love one another.

About Me

i'm currently serving in the Texas Houston East Mission. im from Saint George, UT. I like being around people and having a good time, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and writing my own. i play the guitar and attempt to sing from time to time. i don't watch too many sports but i like to play all of them especially wrestling and football. I'm always looking to try new things and enjoy what life has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

My life has been a constant work in progress and through understanding the atonement and the plan of salvation I’ve been able to confidently make correct choices that will determine where I’m going in life because I know where it is that I want to be. It is such a blessing to have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost. Through the whisperings of the spirit I can know with a surety which choices will bring me happiness and also to know which choices will bring me grief. That gift was given to me through the laying on hands by the priesthood authority which has been restored in this church. My testimony of the reality and divinity of Jesus Christ came to me through prayerfully studying from the Book of Mormon. As I read through those pages I came across the book of Enos. His testimony of Jesus Christ filled my soul with light and understanding and led me to do as he did and pray to the Father without ceasing. It was then I received an undeniable witness that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that the Holy Ghost will speak to us as we read through its pages, it is the fruit of the prophet Joseph Smith who was called to restore the Church of Jesus Christ in these latter days and Jesus Christ is at the head of this church which he continues to direct through his prophets and apostles.

How I live my faith

I've volunteered to serve a full-time mission for the church. I help people make changes in their lives to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

What is faith?

Chris
Faith is things hoped for which are not seen, faith is what allows us to put our trust in God. as we excercise our faith, our faith increases. some ways we can do this is by reading scriptures, praying, loving others and repenting for our sins. the Lord blesses us and shows miracles according to our faith.
