Hi I'm Howard

I'm an engineer, a husband, a father, a grandfather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah. I have lived in California, Canada, Germany, Massachusetts, and Australia. I spent my teen years living on thirty acres of land with a stream and a twenty foot waterfall. I lived in a house that we built as a family. I helped my dad build walls, dig ditches, pull electrical wiring, install copper plumbing, and move more rocks than I ever want to think about again. As a teen I loved water-skiing, working on cars and working at a small town grocery store.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into the Church, I have gone through a life-long conversion process. In a day where living an immoral life can be called courageous, vulgarity and profanity are accepted as part of normal conversation and polls determine what is right and wrong - I am grateful to belong to a Church whose values and guiding principles remain constant.

How I live my faith

I am an aerospace engineer and enjoy working with a variety of people in a technical environment. Work can bring out the worst in people. I believe it is important to live your religion 24/7 and set a good example. I have learned that if you set a good example and not harp on people who don't share the same standards you do, they will respect you. I enjoy serving others through my callings in the Church. Through the years, I have served in positions where I worked with pre-school aged children, teenagers, young adults and adults. When I have served at any level I have learned and become a better person from the experience.
