Hi I'm Michelle

a Mom of 3, 1 child with Type I Diabetes, a Labor & Delivery Nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom of 3 children and a wife of 22 years and going for forever! I started working as a Paramedic while working on classes to get my Nursing degree. I am a Registered Nurse now in Labor & Delivery. I grew up in the western states moved to the south east for schooling, career then got married and settled down in Georgia. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, street cycling, horses, spending time with family and friends, working with others to find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes and supporting Camp Kudzu for kids with Diabetes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 11 years old when I learned about Mormons through my Mom's search for "something more and missing in our lives" as a family. I struggled through my teen and early adulthood years. But I came to the same realization as my Mom did years before. The promises that the Lord makes to us are true. That without Him at the center of my heart and actions following the teachings of the Gospel and His commandments I am not whole. Thinking that I have the opportunity to be with my husband and family with our Heavenly Father FOREVER, is the most amazing promise ever to me! I am not and do not have to be perfect. What I do have to do is persevere in His name by following his teachings. Always be forgiving and ask for forgiveness, strive to do my best, He will ALWAYS be there if I but listen! The Gospel teachings and additional scriptures that are provided are nothing outlandish. They are an additional history and reminder of how much Heavenly Father loves us ALL and He wants ALL of His children from the beginning of time to the end to return unto Him.

How I live my faith

I Live by these phrases to the best of my ability: "Love one another", "Do unto to others as you would have done unto you". From being a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, Teacher in Sunday school of our young childern (Primary class), being a Coordinator of Blood Drives and Day of Service projects. I serve and teach in love and kindness. I learn patience and strengthen my knowledge as I share with others in what I say and do.
