Hi I'm Scott

I am a husband, father, a prosecutor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman and have four great children of which three are adopted. I played waterpolo in high school, but unfortunately I am not in shape anymore but wish I could continue to play. I love to hang out with my family playing games and traveling in our motorhome. I enjoy singing and I like to coach my daughter's soccer team.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that The Church that Jesus Christ organized when he was upon the earth has been re-established again. I believe that Heavenly Father loves His children today just as he loved His children in the Bible. As such, I believe we have living prophets upon the earth today who let us know of the Lord's love and concern for us, His children. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is another testimony that Jesus Christ is the son of our loving Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I believe that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon brings me great joy and peace because I know there is a purpose to me being on earth; and I know that Heavenly Father loves me and is watching over me and my family.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life in such a way that Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, would be pleased with my efforts. I know that it is essential to treat my wife and children with love, patience, kindness and respect. I live my faith by providing acts of service, being a good example and honest in my dealings with others. I strive to live my faith by praying daily to my loving Heavenly Father, who hears and answers my prayers, and by daily reading the scriptures so that I can continually be reminded of Heavenly Father's love and counsel for me. Living my faith brings me joy and happiness and great peace during difficult and troubling times.
