Hi I'm Tyson

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I love to ride snowmachines and be outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the small farming community. I have been driving tractors since I was eight. I love to operate any type of farm equipment. My top hobby is riding snowmachines. I also enjoy riding dirt bikes, four-wheeling, rock climbing, hunting and hiking. I currently attend college and am studding finance.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon so it was something that I just did as a kid. There came a point in my life however that I had to choose for my self. While serving a mission I was asked many questions about the Mormon faith. I spent countless hours trying to find answers in the scriptures for many of these questions. I soon came to realize that not only were the scriptures pointing me to a strong belief in Christ and living prophets but I gained a witness by the power of the Holy Ghost that the things that I was teaching were true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because of studying it and gain this witness from the Holy Ghost. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God like Moses and Abraham to speak for God. I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today that leads and guides Christs church. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the executive secretary in my current ward. This means that I call members of the ward to meet with the bishop. I also make agendas for meetings and follow through with assignments made. The best part of what I do is meeting new members. Sometimes I get to go with the bishop on visits to meet new move ins. It is great to meet people in our college town that are at the same stage in life as me.
