Hi I'm Jeremy

I am an IT project manager, a happily married father of 5, bi-lingual, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a father of 5 wonderful children. I am pleased with each one of them. I work in the IT industry managing projects and traveling around the United States. I love computers I consider myself somewhat of a computer geek. I love to keep up to date with the newest electronic "toys" and information. I build all of my own computers and love to help my family with their computer needs. I love to spend time with my family. We have so much fun playing games and going on short trips. My kids love to go fishing with their dad! I am grateful to have married my high school sweetheart. She is the love of my life, a great mother, and my best friend. In what little spare time I have I like to golf, fish, watch movies and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a Mormon family. I was always taught Mormon beliefs from the time I was young. When I was 19 years old I was expected to go on a mission like other 19 year old Mormon young men. It was at that time I needed to find out for myself if being a member of this church is what My Heavenly Father wanted of me. One of my church leaders told me if I had any questions that the Lord would answer those questions for me and all I had to do was ask. So I did. I asked my Heavenly Father and His answer was very clear for me that I was His son and I was doing exactly what he wanted me to do. Since that time, I know that any question I may have regarding my life, I can ask and he will answer. I asked Him about the Book of Mormon, and He has told me that it is a true book. I have asked Him about Joseph Smith and He answered me that Joseph was a prophet called by God! I know that this is a true church and I am happy to belong to it.

How I live my faith

One thing I love about the Mormon Church is the organization. God is a god of order and this church exemplifies his order. From the President of the Church down to the local congregations (called Wards or Branches) everyone has a responsibility and it is spelled out what we are each to do. I love to take part with my responsibilities. I help to keep track of the members in our ward, and I also teach a one hour class twice a month. In addition to my responsibilities. The Church encourages us to spend one night a week with our family. This Family Night is a wonderful time where we can talk and share things with each member of our family about what is going on in our lives. It helps my kids to be closer together. It helps all of us to feel more love for each other and for our Savior Jesus Christ.
