Hi I'm Kelly

I'm 20. I 'm from New Jersey. I'm a Mormon! :]

About Me

I was born and raised in New Jersey and just recently moved to Florida. I'm a student at Florida State College. I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, reading, sleeping, spending time with my family and going to church. My two favorite things in the world are chocolate and The Book of Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church during an extremely rough period in my life. I was 11 and stuck in the middle of a really bad divorce between my parents. The gospel completely changed my life. I felt hope, the desire to learn and grow, and was able to feel the unconditional love Heavenly Father has for me. I have no doubt in my mind that this is the true and only church of God. The Book of Mormon and its teachings have proven to me that there is life beyond this. I know in my heart that Heavenly Father walks beside me every step of the way, he listens to every one of my prayers, and will ALWAYS have his hand stretched out towards me. My life has been nothing but blessings since I became a member of his church. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for the opportunity he has given me to come to this earth to be tested so that one day I can return to him and those I love for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a primary teacher! It's amazing to see how much faith and knowledge these children have. Seeing their faces light up and learning about their feelings and thoughts towards our Heavenly Father strengthens me so much! They truly are an example to me. Daily scripture reading and prayer have also strengthened me and help me to always keep heavenly father in my thoughts. I live my faith by loving God with all my heart mind and strength. By loving and serving others as much as I can and working daily to become a true disciple of Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Very simple, prayer. Heavenly Father is the only one who can confirm to us if what we believe in is true or not. If we ask him with true intent, diligence, and the desire to know and understand he will answer us. Show more Show less
