Hi I'm Erin

I love swing dancing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in university studies with an emphisis in Biology and Family and Consumer Science. After I graduate I plan on going to nursing school and my main goal is to become a midwife. I play the trumpet and the flute and am part of my college's marching band. I deeply love music and helping others and I love how my life has turned out ever since joining the church. I am waiting on a missionary as well and I know him being out on a mission is the best thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Luthern and then when I moved I stoped going to church. After leaving for college I was going down the wrong path and was ready for a change. I knew I wanted to go back to church, but I really didnt know where to go because I didnt know anybody who went to a Luthern church. I asked my roommate if I could go to church with her and it happened to be fast and testimony meeting. Every one was so nice to me, and I just felt like I was at home. I have never felt like that before in a church. I started investigating the church and getting lessons from the missionaries. I always got this really undescribable feeling with every lesson and going to church, it was the best feeling ever (now I know it was the Spirit). I knew I wanted to be part of Heavenly Father's true church and I know this is the truth. My boyfriend got to baptise me 2 days before he left for his mission. My life has changed so much and I feel so blessed. I love being Mormon and knowing the truth, and to know the plan of salvation. I always feel more at home now that I have converted.

How I live my faith

I am part of the Young Single Adult group and I have so much fun. We enjoy hanging out with each other and doing service projects. We just recently built a shed and it was a great experience. My first calling ever was as the ward Chorister and I was so nervous about this calling at first. As I prayed about it, I knew I could do well in this calling. When the YSA group came along I got a calling as the activities committe secretary. I love this calling and being part of planning so many fun activities. My organization skills have come in handy with this calling and have helped me to make everything easier for the ysa.
