Hi I'm Andrea.

I take cross country road trips with my kids. I love date nights with my husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I studied dental hygiene then worked part-time for two years while my husband went to graduate school. We have three kids and I now have the fun full-time job of staying home with them. I like to play the piano, take photos, travel, play tennis, and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family where the gospel was taught in my home. I have never really doubted its truthfulness. However, I have gained my own testimony of the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout my life. By feeling the joy of repentance, I know the atonement of Christ is real. As I studied the life of Joseph Smith, I came to know that he really was a prophet of God. Each time I read the scriptures, I try to find ways to apply Christ's teachings in my life. And it works.

How I live my faith

The most important way that I live my faith is by sharing it with my children. I read the scriptures and pray with them daily. It is a joy to see their knowledge of the gospel growing. At church, I serve in the nursery for toddlers. Not only does this allow their parents to attend meetings, it also gives these precious children the opportunity to learn about the Savior each week. We have short age-appropriate lessons on topics such as prayer; family; loving others; sharing; Heavenly Father's and Jesus' love for us; and the scriptures. We also spend some time each week singing songs together. I love my time spent in the nursery feeling of the sweet spirits of these children.
