Hi I'm Robert C

I have an awesome wife, children and grandchildren who love spending time together! We are all Mormons!

About Me

I am the husband of a wonderful lady who is my best friend, sweetheart and companion. We were married over 44 years ago in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We have five married children who have blessed us with 23 grandchildren. We live in Wyoming where there are more antelope than people! My wife and I love to be together: boating, hunting, fishing, visiting our family, attending grandchildren's activities, serving in our local church and in the LDS temples. We owned our own computer store and laboratory business for over 38 years. "Together Forever is our watch word" Now retired from our business we spend 70 hours each week being missionaries. We are now serving a 2 year full time Family History mission helping patrons use the new FamilySearch.org program and it's many features. We spend time at the local public library, Family History Center, do house calls all over the area and help with the family history Sunday classes in 8 wards. People of all walks of life want to learn about their families and we help them find success in doing just that! It brings us great happiness each day to see the joy folks get from locating a family member!

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestores on my mothers side were Mormon pioneers however my fathers family were of another Christian faith. I was able to watch my extended family live the Mormon faith and I liked how it made me feel! I was baptized at the age of 10 but didn't attend church alot until my college days. My father converted to the church when I was twenty. As a college freshman, I felt the desire to attend church and keep the Lord's commandments. My Bishop called me to serve a full time mission for the church when I was a sophomore. I accepted the call from the Prophet of God, David O McKay to serve a 2 year mission. Those two years teaching and testifying of Jesus Christ changed my life forever! When I returned to college I wanted to begin an eternal family of my own. I met my wonderful wife at the LDS Institute at the University of Wyoming. We were married in the Idaho Falls Temple, continued our education being blessed with 3 children and serving in the church. A few years later we began our lives in the real world and were blessed with two more children. Our lives and that of our families are focused on family first and being lead by the Lord thru a living Prohet in all we do. I know the true gospel of Jesus Christ is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by the wittness of the Holy Ghost and thru the living of the Lord's commandments.

How I live my faith

Since the Gospel of Jesus Christ is our life, we try to do as He would do. We believe families can be together forever, so we strive to do alot together. My wife and I have always served in the church and in our community . Since there is no paid clergy in the church everyone serves willingly which in turn serves God. Presently we are doing family history work (finding our deceased ancestors) in order that they can have their temple ordinances done, necessary for eternal families. We have served as leaders and teachers of all ages of people in the church. I am at times ask to give advise or my opinion on some issue. Often they preface the question with "we want your opinion not what your church teaches". I respond that the gospel is my life, so in keeping with the Lord's direction, my opinion is as close as I can give on what He has taught in the scriptures and thru modern day living prophets. I know this church is true, there is a living prophet upon the earth, presently Thoma S Monson, who receives revelation for all the world. We are blessed temporally and spiritually as we follow the prophet's council. We enjoy a happy, full life because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thru the ups and downs of life we have comfort from the atonement of the Savior. The atonement not only allows for forgiveness of sins but eases the burdens that come to us in life, so we can bear them.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Robert C
Yes, families can be together forever thru the gospel of Jesus Christ. Temples now cover the earth for the purpose of Heavenly Father's children to receive special covenants that allow them to be united forever as families. In these Holy houses of God a husband and a wife can be sealed by the priesthood of God to live forever together with their family if they keep the commandments in this life. Show more Show less
