Hi I'm Laura

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 25 year old Stay At Home Mom of 3 beautiful babies. I have been married to the love of my life for over 6 years now! I decided right out of high school to get married and start my family. It may seem crazy to the world but I know what I am doing right now is the most important job I will ever do in this life, which is raising my children in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Well first off I was born a member of this Faith. That doesnt meen that I have always lived my life as I do now. As a teenager I always had doubts whether this church was true. I was always into trouble. I tried to make myself believe that I could never be that person that centered their life around God. It was one night late after being out with freinds that I realized I was not happy. I had someone tell me to just start reading the Book Of Mormon. It was then when I started the story of the Iron Rod my life changed forever. It wasnt easy but I was able to make it though many trails. I had the Holy Ghost touch my heart in a way that I could not deny. And this is the reason why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being Mormon is not just going to church every Sunday and thinking that you are going to be saved. It is a way of life that I try to live everyday. We pray and read our scriptures as a family everyday. We live in harmony with the teaching of the gospel taking it one day at a time. We hope that we will continue to grow and become better people than we were the day before.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God in the Latter Days. Though he was a great man, and we have gratitude for all he did to restore the gospel in modern times, Mormons only worship God the father and his son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Because family's ARE forever! Through proper priesthood authority, families can be spiritually sealed together for all time and eternity. This blessing is received in the holy temple. Knowing that my family and I will be together forever gives me true joy. Show more Show less

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is a revelation from God instructing us how to live healthier lives. Obedience to this instruction means a commitment to abstain from consuming tobacco, illegal drugs, alcohol, tea, and coffee. Show more Show less
