Hi I'm Don

Born and raised in California, I continue to meet new peole. That makes life interesting to me. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a father of two teenage children and am married to a wonderful woman. I'm somewhat of a techno-geek and work for a wireless telecommunications company. I like baseball(Giants) and soccer. I played soccer for 24 years. I have coached and refereed as well. I like traveling with my wife and plan to travel to some other countries. I bicycle with my wife often and enjoy long walks together with her.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it is all true. I'm somewhat of a phylosopher and have studied religion a bit throughout my life. When I found "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints", I immediately felt through the spirit that this is the true church on the earth today. Either it is all true or it is entirely un-true. There is no in-between. Almost 14 million people world-wide can't be wrong. I suggest to all to read the Book of Mormon. Pray and ask the Lord if it is true. I know you will receive the correct answer to that question

How I live my faith

I live the commandments of the Lord. I feel the joy that comes when I do things right. I have a happy life; not trouble free but happy. I still endure trials but I feel like I have the "Life Manual" in the gospel that can answer all my questions in life. I enjoy reading the Book of Mormon and do so daily with my wife. Integrity is important to me. It is everything. I challenge everyone to test this yourself and see what changes it can make in your life.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

When Jesus Christ was on Earth, he established how the church should operate and "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints" is operated that same way. Christ has not changed nor the Church he established. Show more Show less

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Satan is real and wants as many people as possible to turn away from God our Father. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has always had to deal with negative publicity. The church is not a cult. Satan likes to confound and make people believe that the church is something that it is not. The church has stood the test of time and will continue to stand and not fail or fall. Show more Show less
