Hi I'm LeAnna

I live in Idaho. I am a gardener, a lover of all things outdoors, a "bonus-Mom" and an entrepreneur I'm a Mormon

About Me

My life is great! Like everyone else, I've had ups and downs. But every day I can see God's hand in my life and count the many blessings he has given me. I have a great love and appreciation for God's handiwork and thoroughly enjoy being outdoors. I love to ski, river raft, sea kayak and mountain bike. Kite flying, photography, gardening and playing with my beagles are some of my favorite things to do. My biggest "bump" has come with learning how to live with Crohn's disease. Anyone who has faced a major health challenge can relate to the physical and emotional rollercoaster that can have. After undergoing major surgery - and discovering colon cancer was lurking- I am now healthy and getting back to the active lifestyle I enjoy so much. I find it is much easier to be happy and to look for the good in others and the funny side of events in life than to sit around and let life pass me by.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into a family who lived and practiced the teachings of the Gospel, there came a time in my life when I needed to make a choice to continue to follow those teachings or to do something else. My choice was based on a simple answer to my prayer. Since that time, and because of the witness I received, I have followed the teachings of the Savior and our living prophet. Nothing brings greater happiness than knowing - really knowing - who I am. And through making that choice I have come to know who I am.

How I live my faith

My mission in life is to not just make a difference...I want others to say "she made ALL the difference". Daily opportunities allow me to live my faith and to be an example of one who believes in and follows the Savior. I live my faith through daily prayer, reading and studying the scriptures, serving others, following the words of the Prophet and being obedient to God's commandments. As I do these things I find I am much more helpful, kind and service-minded to others. Those are the things the Savior wants of me and I am happy to make that effort so that others might feel His love for them through someone like me.
