Hi I'm John

I grew up in Texas. I am now a clinical psychologist in Idaho, a father of five, and husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist in Idaho. In that capacity I primarily spend time doing psychological assessments, but also teach for the local university and consult internationally. My wife and I are raising 5 children. When I do have spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, visiting interesting places, and spending time outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to join the Church when I was 18 after searching for truth and praying to know if what was being taught by the missionaries as well as the Book of Mormon was true. Since this time, I have served a mission and served in a variety capacities in the church. I have always found that the gospel is a source of happiness and makes me a better person as I strive to align myself with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am far from perfect and have much to do to become a better Christian. That stated, I believe in the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ who sacrificed all if we would but repent, exercise faith, be baptized, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end faithfully.
